As a follow up to last year's Infinity War one sheet, I thought I would have a go at designing one for this year's sequel, Endgame. I produced this at the start of the year, when details of the movie were scarce (and reference material was even scarcer), so there was a lot of guess work involved, most of which based on nothing more than the first trailer and a handful of low resolution images leaked from the set. I only really had three concrete concepts in mind when I started working on this: 1. Thanks with his back to the viewers, as a way of depicting the Avengers stuck in his shadow/thrall. 2. The composition of the Avengers, themselves, to harken back to the now iconic circular shot from the first movie. 3. The entire composition to be at an odd angle, touching on the idea that everything has gone off kilter since the events of Infinity War. I also knew I wanted to have the Grand Central Station set piece from the first Avengers film feature prominently, as word was already out that time travel would be involved in the movie, and that moment would feature prominently. It's just a shame i didn't go with an initial idea I'd had of framing the station in front of Odin's palace from Thor: The Dark World, given how much time was spent there in the movie. I do have half a mind to go back in and edit the characters to look more like they did in the film. Well, I say characters, I really mean just Thor...
