Over the last few months, I've been aiming to do at least a couple of warm-up sketches each day, with one being a pre-existing character or IP and the other an original creation of my own.

As someone who has more or less been working exclusively as a digital artist these last couple of years, I've increasingly felt that I've fallen out of practice using traditional brushes and ink, this has been my attempt to rectify that.

Below are a selection of these sketches, all of which will be available to buy at any comic-cons I'll be attending this year.

I was asked to imagine what the poster for a potential Batman/Superman crossover film from the Michael Keaton/Christopher Reeve era might look like.

A tribute to both the upcoming Avengers films and George Pérez's iconic cover art for the Infinity Gauntlet comic event.

I started working on this long before they started releasing images from Infinity War and Thor: Ragnarok, so while I was able to make alterations as time went on, there were some details I just didn't get round to adding in time (hence no bearded Cap or Iron Spider suit). I also wanted to maintain as much symmetry with the Pérez cover as possible, so despite not appearing in this year's movie, I decided to keep Nick Fury in his place (if anything just because a Samuel L Jackson appearance makes everything better).

My one biggest regret was not including Black Panther (and apologies for a criminal lack of Groot).
