What I need from you...
- Your full name and e-mail address.
- If you want your commission by a specific date (e.g. a birthday or anniversary, etc) you need to tell me this up front, and before I agree to take on the commission. If I have any existing commitments, that will affect the amount of time I may be able to spend on your commission. You should also give me, at the very least, three weeks notice before your desired date.
- For sketches and portraits from life, I will require a full colour photo for reference.
- For fictional characters of your own creation, a detailed description of your character's appearance is necessary. An outline of their background and personality would also be helpful.
- Please be specific about any details you want included in your commission.
- A postage address will be required for any print commissions.
- Payments are made via PayPal before a project is started.
The Process...
1. The Brief1. Choose your commission type and send me your brief using the form below. There may be a brief dialogue while we finalise the details of your commission, including any potential deadlines you wish to set.
Once that's all agreed on, and I have received payment, I will begin work on your image. Vertical Divider

2. The Sketch2. Once I have finished the initial sketch, I will e-mail you a monotone version of your image for approval.
From here you can request any changes to the sketch. If you do request any changes, I will send you another monotone version of your image with the adjustments before proceeding to the next step. Vertical Divider
|
3. The Colour3. If you're happy with how the image is looking, I will begin work on the colour version.
Generally, this part of the process won't take as long as the initial sketch does, though this does depend on the complexity of your commission. Vertical Divider

4. The Final4. I will e-mail you a low resolution jpeg of the colour version for approval. If you have no problems with it, I will e-mail you a high resolution jpeg.
This would also be the point I'd send the image off to be printed if you are requesting a print commission. |
For Commercial Hires
The prices listed on this page apply to commissions that are intended for personal use only.
If you or your company require art for commercial reasons (e.g. web design, advertisements, book illustrations, etc), please use the contact form accessible via the + button visible at the bottom right of your browser window.

Be Advised
I retain the right to deny any commission request. Any commission involving sexually explicit material or imagery that promotes hate or bigotry of any kind will be automatically refused.
You will receive a full refund if I have to cancel for any reason. After work is finished there are no refunds. You can not cancel your commission after work has begun. All your information used for commissions is kept private. Your name will not be used if your commission is posted on my site or any of my social media accounts. Your e-mail and payment information will not be shared with anyone under any circumstances.
I will not use digital commissions as prints/posters to be sold or in any other way distribute the high resolution file for reproduction. Only the buyer of the digital commission and myself will ever have access to print or make copies of the final image. This policy serves to make ownership of a digital commission unique to the buyer in the same way that a traditional ink and mark drawing would be. I will only use low-res versions of the final images for online promotions to encourage further sales and as samples in my general art portfolio. If the buyer of a digital commission uses the final digital file to make prints for any other purpose aside from personal, private use (reselling prints, making t-shirts, using the image for online promotion, etc.) I will then consider the final image free to use for selling as prints myself.
All digital files will be e-mailed to you in the form of a download link via Dropbox. Due to storage limitations, I will keep your file uploaded to my Dropbox for no longer than 6 months. After that time, should you require to download your file again you will need to contact me via e-mail and I will re-upload it for you.
Unless subject to a specific license agreement, I retain full ownership of copyright on any original work I produce.
Delivery Schedules will be determined via e-mail at the time of commission and are subject to prior commitments.
International Customers: Prices do not cover delivery costs outside of the UK.
